A multi- million revenue company is looking for a junior Programmer Analyst(C#/ .Net ).

This role is focused on assisting with development of our analytical tools in our newly defined product suite.
Responsibilities:
Build applications based on a holistic understanding of our product features, its users, the BI data infrastructure/environment, and BI goals
o Develop powerful visualization on BI usage behavior
o Analyze and validate data using statistical tools and models to answer business questions
o Interface with subject matter experts, engineering team and the business users to bridge the gap in understanding data needs, business terminology and logic
o Leverage industry best practices in establishing repeatable BI practices, principles & processes
o Leverage the knowledge of team members across the organization
o Design and build relational databases using SQL Server and Spotfire
Requirements:
o 1
year of database development on SQL Server 2008/2012
o .NET environment and any .NET language, preferably C#
o Experience with real-world issues of loading data from Excel/CSV files, SQL injection risks, parameter sniffing
o Solid experience building business intelligence solutions (data warehouse, data mining, datamart, ETL, Reports, Powerpivots)
o Ability to gather requirements from the development team, rapidly understand the problem, and propose solutions that have common edge-cases covered.
o Strong ability to articulate vision, requirements & benefits, providing a solid rationale to multiple business and technical partners
o Degree(s) Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.)
o Microsoft certification and Financial industry experience is a great plus
