This team is responsible for creating JAVA and .Net components and applications that support major business lines in a trading environment.
The individual will work within a small core team to develop, and to maintain various components of the trading and monitoring systems. The position will be responsible for development mainly in Java server side components. Experience in open source technologies is highly recommended. This position will be part of the core team that is responsible for building out front office technology solutions.

We are looking for candidates who can architect and perform technical specification reviews, as well as participate and contribute in the architecture, design, and review of both existing and new frameworks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to participating in the architecture of new components, toolset evaluation, and working closely with the Server Side and GUI teams. The candidate should be a self-motivated individual, who is capable of working in a fast paced challenging environment. The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to relay and express ideas in a technical forum with lead developers and various team members verbally and through other tools like Visio, Project Plans, Wireframes, Prototypes, etc The ability to clearly communicate with business and systems analysts is required, as well as leading the effort to create these new components.

This position will report to the Lead developer. The candidate must have had at least 6 years of HANDS ON Java server side experience. A detailed requirement document is denoted below. The candidate will work closely within the team to contribute to the coding, architecture, framework creation and testing of the new components.

Minimum experience includes:
6 years or more coding Java Server side.
8 years or more actual programming experience.
Exceptionally strong java fundamentals.
Experience with Java development tools (Eclipse, IntelliJ).
3 years or more experience in any SQL database, preferably SQL Server.
3 years or more of experience with Hibernate and Messaging.
Experience in hosting and consuming web services.
Experience in Object Oriented Design and Patterns.
Strong multi-thread programming knowledge required.
Very good Oral and written technical communication skills, including the ability to document code, and produce technical documentation when required.
Ability to interact with technical and non-technical teams when required.
Ability to work on multiple projects.
Acute attention to details, and the ability to provide feedback on technical specifications.
Must be able to work independently and with other developers on projects when required.
The ability to perform detailed developer unit testing.
Participation in system design and architecture sessions in order to meet the business and system requirements of the user community.
Strong troubleshooting, decision making and problem solving skills.
Experience with a real-time applications.
Self-motivate in learning new technologies.

The following skill sets are deemed as pluses in the job category:
Any CEP development experience.
Any C# development experience.
Any Kx development experience.
Experience with FIX Protocol and or IOI's
Real-time equities trading systems architecture experience.
Any windows messaging infrastructure (TIBCO, MQ, MSMQ, 29W or home grown).
Experience with a real-time trading application.
Experience with quote driven systems.
Equity Financial Industry experience.
Experience in designing mission critical applications.
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is considered a plus, but certainly NOT required.

Education: College Degree is not required, but would be preferred, though lack of a degree will in no way hurt the candidate.

Location: Iselin, NJEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
