The candidate will lead the Consumer Banking Product team of attorneys who provide the primary legal support to the Consumer Banking business areas engaged in product development and management and sales. Will interact on a regular basis with senior product leaders, Compliance, Technology and Controls groups as well as with Legal colleagues. Provide legal advice and support to the Consumer Banking business areas engaged in product development and management, sales and other related areas, including other control functions. Partner with colleagues across the Legal and Compliance Departments including teams supporting Consumer Banking operations and marketing. Manage the team of attorneys supporting consumer banking product and national sales. Monitor and help advise on relevant legislative and regulatory changes.
The candidate should have a J.D. degree and be admitted to practice in and member of the Bar in good standing in a US jurisdiction footprint state. Must have 10
years of legal experience in a large consumer banking organization or law firm representing such organizations with demonstrated record of increasing responsibilities. Knowledge and understanding of retail banking products and services, and the relevant core banking regulations and regulatory framework for a large banking organization preferred. Must have a proven record of providing sound and practical legal counsel in complex situations and the ability to influence others to implement that advice.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
