Waste Connections has an immediate opening for aCollections Representativebased inIselin, NJ.
In this position you will be responsible for reaching out to our delinquent accounts via phone calls and emails, taking customer payments over the phone, setting up payment arrangements, and working to resolve problems that arise concerning service or billing.
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday 8:
00am -5:
00pm position with competitive pay, excellent benefits and the potential for a quarterly collection bonus.
JOB DUTIES:
Making outbound calls and sending emails daily on delinquent accountsManaging automated calls and emailsWorking closely with various departments to reach monthly collection goalsHandle difficult customers and escalated callsWork closely with Credit Supervisor in utilizing our 3rd party collection agencyMaintain accurate notes in customer accountsProvide assistance with on line paymentsProvide customers recap of accounts for billing disputesReporting results to management and escalating problem accountsREQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 1 year of credit and collections experience highly preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience making heavy outbound collections calls highly preferred.
Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Excel and Word experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

The salary range for this role is $22.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
