The Import/Export Coordinator position is responsible for making sure the movement of freight across the globe is coordinated and executed successfully according to our customer's needs.
Job Description Duties include:
- Data Entries - Prepare documents - Booking space with Ocean and Air Lines.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service - Communicate with clients, carriers and agents - Track, trace and notify customer - Filing AES / Customs release - Arrange pick up of freight from shippers locations - Invoicing - Other duties as requested.
Position Requirements:
- Integrity and decency - In-depth knowledge in exportation - Attention to details - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to multi-task efficiently - Positive and professional attitude - Knowledge of USA shipment handling is an asset - Ability to work in a team or independently - Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, freight forwarding software) Knowledge of Cargo Wise is an asset.
- Good command of English - College Diploma/Freight Forwarding Diploma required - Intimate knowledge of logistics including Air Import/Export, Ocean Import/Export an asset - Freight Forwarding / NVOCC / Air and Ocean Import:
