Summary:
Provide leadership and guidance to all front office operations through quality standards, and personnel management to ensure total guest satisfaction and hotel profitability.
Assists the Front Office Manager/General Manager by overseeing the responsibilities of the Front Desk staff.
Ensure that the guests are being serviced in a professional and competent manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Assist in Managing team members' schedules and hours.
Expertly perform all front desk duties including but not limited to check in/out, reservation.
Management, gift shop stocking, cash bank drawer reconciliation, reporting, etc.
Monitor communication between shifts effectively.
Address and solve guest inquiries, complaints, and guest assistance cases.
Respond to guest surveys and guest assistance cases promptly exceeding the guests' expectations.
Ensure daily events on reader boards are accurate.
Maintain clean work environment at front desk, back of desk, and back office.
Act as Manager on Duty ensuring all responsibilities are complete.
Ensure guest satisfaction scores remain above system average determined by the brand.
Ensure all required standards are met or exceeded for Quality Assurance.
Flexible work schedule (weekends and holidays required).
REQUIREMENTS Strong ability to manage staff by fostering positive team relations, utilizing conflict Resolution methods, and exercising constructive discipline Easily multitask and work in a fast paced environment Proficiently schedule staff according to business demands and team member strength Ability to communicate effectively with guests, clients, and other managers.
Strong ability to empathize with guests making them feel cared for and important Excellent problem resolution ability resulting in financial gain and/or guest satisfaction QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Education:
High School graduate or equivalent required.
Experience:
Must have two-year previous hotel management experience.
Opera PMS software experience helpful.
NOTICE:
Friendwell Managed Hotels function twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
As a part of the hospitality industry a hospitable service atmosphere must be maintained at all times.
