Position SummaryBristol Myers Squibb is seeking a dynamic individual to support initiatives for inventory and replenishment strategies, network storage solutions, and standardization of inventory management practices across the global Cell Therapy business.
This role will influence a large matrixed organization in the development of network strategies related to inventory management and space planning and will work closely with site and above-site counterparts in ensuring that the network can adequately service patient demand volume.
Additionally, this position will support aggregating performance data across the network and providing insight into improvement areas.
Key ResponsibilitiesWork within a matrixed team to develop the network strategic roadmap for storage and inventory capacity planning.
This will including gathering requirements, defining business cases and delivering successful execution of plans across the supply chain.
Establish global guidelines and policies regarding inventory and warehouse operations, and coordinate with internal and external sites to ensure successful rollout and implementation.
Develop data and metrics across the network to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement in inventory and warehouse management.
Manage operational strategy for optimization of inventory levels across the network, focusing on improvement of space utilization, reduction of over-ordering and elimination of expired and excess inventory.
Review inventory and planning targets, and lead creation of safety stock policy in collaboration with global supply chain planners to ensure balance of cost and risk in establishing appropriate inventory levels.
Improve and simplify process for seamless execution of material transfers between sites, aligning across Warehouse Operations, Quality, Site Supply Chain, Global Planners and other stakeholders for path forward.
Drive initiatives to ensure accurate inventory management and reconciliation across the network, including standardization and optimization of the cycle count process.
Build and maintain positive relationships with all functions across the Cell Therapy network, as well as with external customers and stakeholders.
Lead process improvements by maintaining open communication with all teams and fostering environment of cooperation in which to achieve shared goals.
Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree required.
2 years relevant experience with materials management and/or supply chain within cGMP operations.
Technical and analytical ability to extract, analyze, synthesize, and interpret complex data.
Excel Skills (pivot tables, macros) and PowerPoint.
Strong knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.
Understanding of Oracle, SAP or other ERP systems desiredStrong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment with a positive attitude that is willing to assist other areas of the organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong focus and attention to detail.
Independent and self-starting.
Curious, inquisitive, and interested to learn more about Supply Chain, Operations Planning and Cell Therapy.
