Summary:
Audit, balance and report on the various areas of the hotel to provide accurate, timely information and to ensure company and Hotel policies and procedures are followed.
Respond in a professional and courteous manner to all guests by providing accurate and timely information and services.
Also responsible for telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Greet and complete established check-in procedures for arriving guests on a daily basis, using both manual and computerized methods, in order to ensure guests are satisfied and in rooms as requested Facilitates guest departure (check-out) on a daily basis by following established manual and computer procedures in order to close guest accounts and open the room for the next sell Maintains good customer relations by keeping abreast of all in-house and area functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses, in person and on telephone.
Operated PBS equipment by accepting incoming calls, assisting outgoing calls, scheduling and setting wake-up calls and paging guests to provide guests with timely and efficient service Perform the duties of a Front Desk Agent including express checkouts Posts room charges and taxes to guest accounts Processes guest charge vouchers and credit card vouchers Posts guest charge purchase transactions not posted by the front desk cashier Transfers charges and deposits to master accounts Verifies all account postings and balances Monitors the current status of coupon, discount and other promotional programs Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front desk office statistics Prepares a summary of cash, check and credit card activities Summarized results of operations for management Use posting machines, computers, and other front office equipment REQUIREMENTS:
Understand and use computers and related equipment Speak and write clearly to report financial information Telephone and guest relations etiquette and skills experience High school education or equivalent experience Accounting background preferred, but not required Minimum of one-year previous hotel experience Experience handling cash, accounting problems, and general administrative tasks.

Friendwell Managed Hotels function twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
