com URSBP has an exciting opportunity for Revenue Operations Director.
We are seeking someone to lead our Revenue Variance initiative by implementing a scalable and repeatable process to project and reconcile our employee benefits commissions received by insurance carriers across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-starter with experience to drive cross functional change with a passion for process, data and analysis.
In this role you have the opportunity to lead our revenue data strategy.
As part of this role, you will interact with key stakeholders throughout the organization including Partner Firms, National Office and Finance as well as external vendors and insurance carriers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Champion the Commission Revenue Practice Management initiative for multiple lines of business throughout the country.
Become an expert in our Dynamics365 (ClientBridge) based commission management system.
Coordinate and lead ClientBridge revenue variance work efforts with identified Partner Firm resources to ensure effective execution.
Lead status update efforts on ClientBridge revenue variance efforts to ensure all stakeholders understand current status, timelines, and blockers.
Partner with Finance to import and reconcile insurance carrier commission statements for our group medical, group ancillary and worksite (individual voluntary) employee benefits products brokered by our core and worksite teams, as well as our General Agency.
Manage offshore team responsible for policy reviews, commission projections, statement formatting, commission uploads and reconciliation.
Develop expert knowledge in Policy Management and understanding of the Account Manager role.
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other various documentation for commission revenue process.
Oversee the process of collecting and organizing data in ClientBridge related to the organization's revenue, sales, and other financial activities.
Manage and coordinate project timelines and deadlines to ensure effective implementation and execution of ClientBridge revenue variance capabilities in target business units.
Analyze large quantities of data using Excel pivot tables, vlookups, and other advanced tools.
Produce and analyze commission variance reporting (comparing actual/paid commissions versus expected commissions) on a monthly basis.
Track and identify missing cash and late payments.
Coordinate with local Partner Firm resources to investigate missing commissions; pursue any missing payments with carriers.
Provide strategic direction in support of critical revenue cycle initiatives and goals.
Summarize and present revenue variance findings and trends to senior leadership.
Provide key reporting and actionable data to key stakeholders and finance colleagues.
Using ClientBridge insights and reporting, partner with finance team to assist with forecasting and strategic planning.
Work with carriers to improve commission payment methods (e.
g.
implementing EFT/ACH) and statement formats.
Evaluate commission guidelines periodically and suggest improvement measures.
Work with ClientBridge product owners and development team on identifying and implementing system & process enhancements.
Manage producer split templates and onboarding/offboarding of new producers in our commissions system.
Job Requirements:

years' experience working in employee benefits commission management roles or similar experience 2
years' experience designing scalable processes/solutions Insurance industry experience and strong understanding of health and benefits insurance commissions.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Highly proficient in Excel with the ability to synthesize data, summarize issues, and think outside the box is essential.
Self-starter - Proactively identify problems/opportunities and find a way to get involved.
Detail-oriented and able to work with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment to ensure that deadlines are met.
Experience with Dynamics 365 and advanced knowledge of Microsoft O365 applications highly preferred.
A team player, comfortable working with all levels of the business.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong process and analytical skills to identify inefficiencies, create improvements and manage complex issues.
Ability to prioritize and manage various projects across your team resources and adapt to changing business requirements.
Strong interpersonal skills to influence others, even without formal authority and lead cross-functional teams.
