Program Specialist

Overview
The Program Specialist will provide direction to Program Team on established program processing guidelines and policies. Train, review quality of work, and oversee application processing timelines. Respond to client, customer and contractor inquiries.
Responsibilities
Record, review and track rebate applications (contracts, receipts, etc.) submitted by customers and/or contractors to ensure accuracy and program incentive eligibility.
Review data entries in the program database to ensure accuracy and consistency with the supporting documentation provided with rebate applications.
Track the status of active projects to ensure progress toward processing goals in a timely manner.
Input, verify and correct data for program reporting requirements. Prepare weekly/monthly reports as required to meet program specifications.
Assist in monthly invoicing process by reviewing data entry of approved applications.
Verify accuracy and completeness of authorizations for customer and contractor incentive payments.
Pull and prepare program files for QA review, audits by the state or federal government.
Work with Customer Call Center to answer customer inquiries.
Assist in the resolution of customer issues. Document calls and customer issues in program database. Follow-up with customers or contractors to secure necessary documentation.
Qualifications
HS Diploma or equivalent education required. College education preferred
Previous administrative experience in an office environment is a must.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Detail oriented, ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast pace environment and meet deadlines within short timelines.
Computer proficiency, experience with Windows-based office applications and previous database experience are necessary. Basic knowledge of Excel is required.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Interest in energy efficiency and/or building science is preferred.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
